It wasn’t such a happy holiday for me because social security decided to cut off my disability right before the holidays. WHY! I have been on disability for over 10 years, nothing had changed, but someone just decided I was no longer disabled. I would like to have an explanation as to WHY.

Is access to mysocialsecurity account down (outside of posted business hours) just for the holidays or forever? I used to be able to access my account whenever I wanted to but now I can only do so during EST business hours.

The kentucky version of ssa ,what a slow,slow,slow, government. Working against taxpayers who apply for anything. When it comes to paying in to gov. If your slow you’re fined,charged,etc. Getting help as a citizen waste of time ,gas,mail postage , just file for bankruptcy, live in a tent .stand on a corner with , need food, work, etc.

These are the two basic credit card fraud. The fraudsters has all your personal information and goes to your residence to steal the pre-approved credit card application in the mail. They buy a prepaid disposable phone for the phone contact number on the application. They wait to steal the credit card that comes in the mail. They use the prepaid phone to activate the card.
The other credit card fraud is to steal the information on your credit card when you hand the crooked cashier or waitress your credit card. They steal the 3 digit security code on the back of the card.
You should cut out and remove this security code and store it in a safe place.
Many people are notified by their credit and debit card companies about fraudulent online purchases. Almost all online purchases require the security code and when it is wrong, it triggers a fraud alert. If the fraudsters have your security code, it will take longer to catch the fraudulent transaction by the time you get the bill.

Set up a tent outside of the SSA local office. Put up a sign that reads homeless waiting on disability hearing. The SSA will expedite your case to get you out of their sight.

Put a coffee can in front of the tent. Some of the senior citizens applying for social security are so gullible that they will give you money. Seniors are an easy target.

Don’t forget to put God bless you on the sign. You can get those religious people to donate too. The homeless standing on the corner are good at finding ways to get donations.

My daughter turns 18 in June and starts college this fall will I still be able to get my benefit for her or will end in may 30 days before gopher 18 th birthday ? How does it work when child dependent turns 18?

Hi, Richard. Thanks for your question. Usually the benefits stop when children reach age 18 unless they are disabled. However, if the child is still a full-time student at a secondary (or elementary) school at age 18, benefits will continue until the child graduates or until two months after the child becomes age 19, whichever is first.
